"Two Rivers" is a vivid melodic piece in dropped D tuning. It features a recurring series of folk-inspired themes which go through a number of changes and modulations. It has a very English feel and some repeated touches of renaissance decoration. While it strongly suggests traditional folk music, it also includes touches of the more recent acoustic guitar music of the English folk revival.  And you may also recognise some of the influence of Spanish classical guitar techniques.  Altogether an intriguing challenge for a fairly advanced player.
