Alfredo Mario Figueras has a Postgraduate degree in Piano from the Manuel de Falla Conservatory (Buenos Aires, Argentina). He also plays guitar, piano accordion, and a variety of instruments, such as the Paraguayan harp and the kazoo. Alfredo Mario Figueras writes short songs in the Argentine National Cuis genre for solo and chamber instruments. He has composed over 100 songs in collaboration with lyricist Jorge Padula Perkins. Besides being a composer, he writes short stories called "Salchi Pensamientos" (Salty Thoughts) and draws semi-political humour.
