Rodrigo Nefthalí (Mexico City, 1978) is one of his generation's most complete Mexican musicians. He studied in Mexico and Barcelona (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya and Escola Luthier). In addition, he develops an intense activity as a professor, performer and composer. His students have won important national and international acting awards. He is a performer who has participated both in the classical environment and in jazz with his Tempus Fugit Quartet.
As a composer, he recently won the "Nuestra América 2020" composition award. He was a professor at the Manuel M. Ponce Center for Musical Studies and at the Universidad Michoacana. He currently teaches at the Conservatorio de las Rosas in Morelia, Mexico
