Paolo Battista
Born in Bari (Italy), he obtained a degree in Modern Literature from the University of Bari and a diploma in classical guitar at the Conservatory of Monopoli (Ba) under the guidance of Maestro L.Saracino. He perfected his musical studies following master classes with the
masters R.Dyens, A.Ponce, E.Isaac, L.Saracino, S.Fontanelli, N.DiModugno, V.N. Paradiso, 
U.Cafagna.

In 1998 he was the first performer of the “Four preludes” by D. di Paoli, and in 1999 he performed the “Suite for guitar” by A. Brignoli, first places in the 1st and 2nd edition of the Guitar Composition Competition banned by Conservatory of Monopoli (Ba) Italy.

Its repertoire ranges from Renaissance to twentieth-century music, from research to tango, from vocal chamber music from the nineteenth century to Spanish folk songs.

He teaches at lower secondary schools with a musical focus.

Since December 2016, he has collaborated with the trio “Lithos” (sonorous stones, guitar and soprano). The Lithos is a musical instrument made up of sound stones.
