Collection: Caffrey, John

John Caffrey is an experienced guitarist and composer based in Dublin, Ireland. He studied classical guitar at the Royal Irish Academy of Music and is a long-standing member of the GuitaRIAM guitar ensemble. John completed a Diploma in Music with the Open University in 2012, the ATCL for Music Performance in 2014, the LTCL for Music Performance in 2016 and the LTCL for Instrumental Teaching in 2018. He has experience teaching guitar at all levels, from beginner to advanced and across a wide range of musical styles. Traditional Irish music has always been a strong influence on John’s music and his current repertoire includes original works alongside arrangements of traditional Irish tunes.
