Collection: Gawroński, Piotr
Piotr Gawroński (born 1985) is a self-taught guitarist and composer from Poland. He started playing the guitar at the age of 12. Very early he became interested in bossa nova, and this has had a great impact on his composing style. Gawroński is inspired by composers such as Antonio Carlos Jobim, Leo Brouwer, Roland Dyens, Carlo Domeniconi, Astor Piazzolla and Paulo Bellinati.
Bergmann Edition brings you a selection of compositions by Gawronski which combine a song-writerly approach with classical, jazz and contemporary fingerstyle techniques. These pieces are highly accessible and melodic, but call for considerable playing skill.
