Collection: Nieborak, Krzysztof
Krzysztof Nieborak - born in 1964 in Wrocław, a classical guitarist, teacher, music publicist, and judge in national and international music competitions. Founder of many prizes (CDs/notebooks/publications) at guitar competitions and auditions.
After graduating with a Master's degree from the Music Academy in Wrocław in 1987-1989, he continued to improve his skills at the Higher Arts Institute in Havana, Cuba. He has played concerts in several European countries as well as Cuba and Mexico. He appeared on Polish and Cuban TV and his music has been played by BBC.
He made over a dozen albums, both solo and in collaboration with other musicians and poets. On the Internet, there are numerous solo recordings of his work as well as recordings with his daughter, a cellist, performing as Duo Melodico.
For several years he has been composing miniatures and variations for the guitar - three notebooks titled Kaleidoscope of Guitar Moods were published by Cicadis.eu between 2021-2023. In total, seven of his solo guitar sheet music collections have been published to date. In 2025, the Polish publishing house Euphonium published the collection Guitar Inspirations for the School Year and Summer Vacation.
Mid-2023 also saw the publication of his 19-piece collection, called "I Already Have a Guitar and I Play It Nicely."
He teaches unconventionally - without possessing a set method, he adjusts instructions and programs for each student individually. The author of over 250 music-related texts and reviews in the press and online, he is also capable of writing light verse and occasionally even a serious poem.
He collaborates with the magazine Six Strings of the World. In his hometown, he most frequently performs concerts at the well-known and beloved Music and Literature Club.
