Christina Hemmingsen
Classical guitarist and arranger Christina Hemmingsen was born in 1995. She has performed several concerts all across Denmark, and a highlight includes a performance at the Palazzo dei Priori in Volterra (Italy).

Ms Hemmingsen has also championed new works for the classical guitar. She has premiered compositions by Tobias Krebs (Switzerland), Daniel Torlop Norstrøm (Denmark) and Golfam Khayam (Iran).

Christina also savours the opportunity to collaborate with other musicians. She has performed with the Sønderjyllands Symphony Orchestra, played with various guitar ensembles, and presented concerts with recorder, flute, voice, and even the trombone.

Christina grew up in a small town in the southern part of Denmark. After three years in the local music school, she was accepted at the music school’s talent line and later admitted into the pre-conservatory program. Currently, she has completed her Bachelor of Music degree at The Royal Academy of Music Aarhus, under the guidance of Frederik Munk Larsen. She has also performed in masterclasses conducted by Àlex Garrobé, Antigoni Goni, and Meng Su.
