Ötvös, Csilla

Csilla Ötvös is a Hungarian guitarist who graduated from the Faculty of Music of the University of Szeged as a guitar teacher and a chamber music performer in 2009. She got a Master's degree in classical musical instrumental performance as a guitarist in 2011.

During her studies, she won an Erasmus scholarship to Germany (Osnabrück Institut für Musikpedagogik – Konservatorium) in 2007. She has participated in international competitions and played at masterclasses by acclaimed and well-known native and foreign guitar artists.

She performed her own compositions at the 10th International Guitar Festival in Balatonfüred and at the 22nd Autumn Cultural Festival in Szeged. In 2014 and 2016, she played her compositions on the American Veterans Radio's shows. She gave solo concerts in the Palace of Arts of Budapest several times with the support of the Sófi Foundation.

Csilla Ötvös has released two guitar albums with her compositions, "Origin" in 2015 and "Journey" in 2018. She has been teaching regularly since 2005 and aims to expand the repertoire for the guitar.
