Collection: Reinecke, Carl
Carl Reinecke (1824 – 1910) was a German composer, conductor, and pianist. He was born in Altona; technically he was born a Dane, as until 1864 the town was under Danish rule. He studied with his father, Johann Peter Rudolph Reinecke, a music teacher. Carl began to compose at the age of seven, and his first public appearance as a pianist was when he was twelve years old.
