From an early age, the classical guitar has been my constant companion. What began as pure curiosity about the instrument's possibilities grew into a lifelong passion. To further develop my musical, technical, and theoretical skills, I studied classical guitar at the conservatory. After my studies, I performed regularly for several years, but despite the wonderful compositions for classical guitar, I always felt the need to write and play my own music.
Composing gave me the freedom to shape my own musical ideas and emotions. Since then, writing music has become an important part of my life. My compositions come to life in various ways. Sometimes melodies or rhythms play in my head, or new harmonic, rhythmic, and melodic connections arise through improvisation—musical puzzle pieces that eventually fall into place and that I then develop into a complete work. The classical guitar is always at the centre of this process. That my compositions can now reach guitar enthusiasts through these publications is a special experience for me.
In addition to my work as a composer, I have also explored developments in music technology in recent years. I have carried out various projects in my studio and learned a great deal from them. This has enabled me to set up my own YouTube channel and handle all the production work myself. The same applies to my discography on streaming platforms.
Furthermore, to this day, I still teach with great pleasure. Sharing my love of the guitar and guiding others in their musical growth is deeply rewarding and mutually inspiring. This continues to inspire me in my own playing, composing, and in everything else my musical journey may bring.
