[message]For solo guitar.
"The Last You'll Hear From Me" is a very 'non-classical' piece which sounds equally at home on a nylon or steel string guitar. It has a slow, bluesy feel to it, with some chord work reminiscent of gospel piano. The main challenge for the guitarist is the constant use of chromatic progressions. Once you get them, they are such a pleasure to play: but they call for some technique. The piece needs to be played with a slow swing - the notation should be read in jazz eighths.
