‘In From The Cold’ is a piece in song form – verse, chorus, verse, chorus, repeat, end. The ‘verse’ has a waltz feel, in a minor key with a strong melody played mostly in the bass strings, and some beautiful unexpected harmonies. The chorus is a glorious warm major-key tremolo melody. This is a tricky piece calling for some advanced technique.
