While transcribing these sonatas for guitar, Yuri Liberzon's goal was to come up with fingering solutions which would allow the player to achieve the best possible balance between the comfort of playing and preservation of the original musical content as much as possible. As a result, in his rendition of the sonatas, he gives very meticulous attention to fingerings and he has added fingering markings for both left and right hands.
