For solo guitar. Ten variations on a Sarabande in D moll von G.Fr.Händel composed by Ferdinand Rebay (1880-1953). The theme is the well-known Folies de Espana, on which many composers have composed variations. For guitarists, the best-known compositions on this theme are probably those of Fernando Sor, Mauro Guiliani and Emil Ponce. This is a very well composed late romantic style variation.
