As a child, I spent a number of years in Argentina. The title of this piece refers to that time and to the memories I have of that period in my life. This was also where I first started learning the guitar.
The style of this work borrows from the Argentine milonga in the first, minor-key section, followed by a brighter major key section that has tango/habanera elements.
