I dedicate this collection to my family and in particular to my grandfather, Giuseppe Galante, who passed away on January 14, 2025. A wise person with a superfine intelligence. I will always remember his kindness, his nobility of spirit and the love he showed towards us grandchildren, his children and his wife. For
this reason, in agreement with my cousins and my brother, we decided to pay homage to him by associating some of my songs with words taken from his last poems, poems written in Sicilian, a language that he mastered with skill. From the words contained in them, I have extrapolated the titles of the songs that make up
the collection. I hope that this work can fill the hearts of all listeners and anyone who wants to undertake its study
