VALSE SATIESFAITE - for guitar
Composed in 2021, it is a homage to Erik Satie, one of Cecconi's favourite composers. The title itself, meaning "Satisfied Waltz", reminds us of the French composer's nonsense and sense of humour. The piece is composed of four sections: the first is a waltz that reminds of Satie's harmonies, the second is a much slower section inspired by its Gnossiennes and Gymnopedies and, after a "da capo" of the first section, there is a finale inspired by the finale of "d'Holothurie", the first of his "Embryons Desséchés".
