This collection of songs was written between 2004 and 2007. Several pieces, such as Goliard Hymn and Dream of the Dancing Puppet, are stylistically traditional in form, while others, such as Schmaltz and Prelude Sem Nome, flirt with some jazz elements. And several technically demanding pieces like Tormentum Insomnia and Escape From Nemesis are compositionally experimental and explore the more theatrical aspects of the guitar. In the end, I hope you find these songs musical and enjoy performing them as much as I enjoyed writing them.

I'll be eternally grateful to Thomas Lyng Poulsen for taking on this project. This allowed me to revisit my own music and recapture the inspiration I thought had long passed. I'm forever indebted to Michael Belajonis, who helped clarify my novice composition skills and encouraged me to commit these ideas to paper. Otherwise, they would be nothing more than a scrapbook of concepts in a desk drawer.
