Ötvös, Catalan Folk Songs

Csilla Ötvös, Catalan Folk Songs

for two guitars

The collection contains 18 pieces for two guitars. This publication fills a gap, expands the guitar's chamber music repertoire, and contributes to the repertoire used in music education.
Catalan folk songs are known and readily accepted by everyone worldwide. We hope the duo transcriptions will contribute to their popularity.
It presents these folk songs in a new way, bringing this musical world closer to music students. The volume pays tribute to the tradition of folk music, helps popularize chamber music, and adds color to the toolbox of music teaching.
