Some time ago I established contact with St Petersburg - based guitarist Aleksandr Loginov. Over a few months we established a strong musical rapport : he is a true
enthusiast for my music, and I am a great admirer of his playing. He understands perfectly my intentions and produces masterly, nuanced and profound
interpretations of my work.
This book is the score for Aleksandr's album Quiet Music, which is a collection of my pieces put together as a sort of "concept album". The recording itself is very beautiful and I hope players will enjoy listening to it and reading and performing the pieces themselves, either as standalone compositions or as a programme.
