The two instrumental pieces presented here are in the original D major and a minor. The Berceuse Op.16 was originally scored for violin or cello con sordino, while the Piece without opus number was for an unidentified instrument in the treble clef and piano, suitable for flute, violin or other treble instruments.
The cello part of the Piece has been edited in collaboration with Bård Bosrup.
