Collection: Mollberg, Jonas

Jonas Mollberg grew up on the Swedish west coast in a home where both parents were artists. After starting to play the electric guitar in his teens, he became increasingly interested in the classical guitar, which became his main instrument.

Jonas graduated as a guitar teacher at the Stockholm Institute of Music Education (SMI) in 1994 and also holds a teaching degree from the University of Gothenburg.

Jonas has written a lot of music for both his own and other people's repertoire. However, after working as a guitar teacher for a few years, he became interested in expanding and broadening the guitar repertoire for guitar students. The result was Acoustic Joy™, a collection of original guitar music aimed at guitar students as well as people who take delight in music that is melodious and easy to play but doesn’t require too much technical skill to perform.

Here at Bergman Edition, Jonas will publish both his original music and music from the Acoustic Joy™ series.
