[message]"Slowly" is a graceful uncluttered melody that has a timeless folkloric feel. It has elements of a Celtic air and of a courtly dance. Its first theme is a pure, song-like melody in E. Its second, in A/D, is a delicate, haunting passage mainly played in trebles only. After a bridging passage, it returns to its first theme with variations, resolving with an extended finale. Although it sounds simple and clear, it has some challenging technical elements and would suit more advanced players.
