Florian Palier, Postfaktische Fuge

Duet for Two guitars: Postfaktische Fuge ("post-factual Fugue"), is dealing with different musical perspectives, styles and effects. It is inspired by fragments of Johann Sebastian Bach's Art of the Fugue which, by being connected to contemporary, we could say "post-factual" elements, are reviewed from a new perspective. The character of the piece is partly humoristic and a bit eccentric. The harmonic and melodic is a vivid cocktail mixed with modal elements, augmented tonality, atonality and the music of Johann Sebastian Bach.
