Lazar Ostojić, Leipzig 1750
For solo guitar
Leipzig 1750 was composed for and dedicated to Sabrina Vlaškalić, an admired colleague and a great friend that was well-known in the world of classical guitar. A Homage, or better say a prayer to keep Johan Sebastian Bach's genuine vibe spreading further was written back in 2013. The process of writing was a purely inspiring one, so besides the quotes of Chaconne D minor in the middle part of the piece, there are Bach look-alike melodical and harmonical patterns, but the author's way of interference with sudden breakups of the form and harmony/melody as well.
