Two pieces for guitar orchestra.
Fast Train
When my guitar orchestra, consisting of six students, wanted me to compose a piece of music at a fresh tempo, I got the image of a rushing steam locomotive at high speed. It became "Fast Train". The work is lively and tries to create the sound and atmosphere of a bygone era of steam trains.
Mågerne fra Santorini
"The Seagulls from Santorini" is an easily accessible piece in 6/8 time with several small fill-ins in the Greek bouzouki style.
