In the doctoral thesis A Guitarra na Galiza (USC, 2020), I studied various Galizan collections of music for guitar, performers, composers, teachers, builders of guitars and other strummed chordophones who made a fundamental contribution to the knowledge and repertoire of the guitar. This Galizan Fado composed by doctor and guitarist Luís Eugénio Santos Sequeiros (1909-2012) is a sample of his inspiration and identity with Portuguese music. Santos Sequeiros taught music to his daughters and sons, and there was a custom in the house of playing and singing. His sheet music collection contains several other original works of equal beauty and good composition, such as Trémolo a Conchita, published by Viso Editora and recorded, as well as Fado, on the CD Guitarra Galiza Vol. 1 (Air Classical, 2021). I thank the family for authorising this publication and we hope that this bottle thrown into the sea will touch the hearts of guitarists worldwide.
