コレクション: Caron, Claude
Claude Caron was born in Montreal in 1951. He studied piano (Antoine Reboulot) and composition (André Prévost and Serge Garant) at the Université de Montréal where he obtained a BA. Later studies with Bruce Mather at McGill University led to an MA in Composition.
After his music studies, he taught music for many years in the public school system, including at École des Cèdres, a music-focused elementary school. This environment allowed him to apply his compositional training extensively. Now retired from teaching, he has returned to concert composition. Con Corde (Variations) is the first completed work of this new creative period.
Claude Caron has been a guitarist since adolescence.
