Aidan Vass is an American composer of contemporary classical music and a graduate of the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music. Vass is a former composer fellow with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and he has studied with mentors such as Andrew Norman, Ian Krouse, and James MacMillan. He has written music for ensembles and performers such as the LA Philharmonic, Tallgrass Chamber Choir, Alexander Boldachev, Nia Drummond, UCLA Philharmonia, Nu Deco Ensemble, and others. He is a three-time YoungArts winner, and MTAC first-place recipient. His choral works—published by Santa Barbara Music Publishing and Hal Leonard—are featured on albums by Tallgrass Chamber Choir and Seraphour and have been broadcast nationwide.
