This guitar method was created with the aim of providing teachers with a practical resource for introducing students to the study of classical guitar. It is intended for complete beginners and is designed to guide them progressively toward the performance of their first polyphonic pieces.

All the exercises and pieces included in this book are original and have been carefully written to lead students through the exploration of the first two positions on the guitar fingerboard.

Fingerings have been deliberately kept to a minimum in order to encourage students to recognize and memorize the notes
independently, without relying excessively on fingering indications.

The first part of the method focuses on the notes of the first three strings in first position through a series of melodic (single-line) pieces, some of which include a teacher accompaniment.

The second part consists of a collection of short polyphonic pieces. Before working on these, the teacher should introduce the student to the notes on the remaining three strings in first position, which are required for playing the bass lines.

The method concludes with a section devoted to technique, including scales and arpeggios.
