Iskanja - the Slovenian word for "searches" is how I entitled the present work for two guitars. The motivic material exposed at the opening is straightforward, almost folkloric, and with high rhythmical power. It then progresses through various textures, timbres and rhythmic impulses, continually shifting from one guitar to another, but always remaining recognizable. It's like a gesture that searches its way to move onward, but without losing its essence, hence the title Iskanja
