One fine evening at a campsite in northern Italy, I was enjoying myself with family and friends when a small firefly was slowly passing by out of the dark. Everyone was admiring this small,
luminous creature. The following night it reappeared, and we wondered why there was only one firefly. The next evening we did not see it...
Had something happened???
Finally, it reappeared on the last night of our holiday, followed by a small swarm of glowing fireflies.
Having returned home, I wrote a story about a happy little Italian firefly, which had disappeared from its friends but eventually found its way back to them.
