Duet for Viola and Guitar.

This collection of works, “Hand in Hand”, was conceived as a denunciation of the abuse and persecution suffered by many on account of their sexual orientation or ethnicity. The collection is presented in the form of a suite and can be played as such. However, in view of its underlying inspiration, my intention as composer is that each movement should also be seen as a fully independent piece that may be played without any of the others. Furthermore, although they appear here in the order I conceived, I leave it to performers to decide the order in which they will play the pieces in a concert programme.
