Collection: Ficagna, Franck

Franck Ficagna was born in 1969 in France.

He studied classical guitar and composition with David Wood at the Ecole Nationale de Musique in Villeurbanne and mathematics at the Lyon University of Sciences.

As a performer, he has released three recordings: 

·        Entropie (2010)

·        Haptein (2013)

·        L’âme et l’ancolie (2020)

His compositions have won prizes in international competitions:

·        Pulsar - Third Prize at the 2025 Baltic Guitar Festival composition contest

·        L’âme-art - Platinum Award at the 2026 Fenix Award International Music Competition

For twelve years, he has been a member of the Voix Do Duo, which gives performances of music, poetry and short stories.

He also performs regularly as a soloist in recitals.
