Terezín Suite is a set of eight pieces for solo guitar meant to musically capture and honour the experiences of the children who passed through the Terezín concentration camp, 1942-1945. Terezín, or Theresienstadt in German, was, for most inhabitants, merely a temporary stop on the way to Auschwitz and thus became the quintessential ghetto for containing and separating the Jews from the rest of the Reich.
