He started playing the guitar at the age of nine, and from the first moment, it was clear to him that he didn't want to do anything else. In those early years of guitar lessons, Rick was already very creative and inventive - he would rather play his own compositions than the pieces he got from his teacher. Over the years, that hasn't changed much; he still likes to play his own works the most.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eRick started studying at the Prince Claus Conservatory in Groningen with Sabrina Vlaskalic in 2016. He graduated his bachelor degree with cum laude in June 2020. Currently, he is studying Music Teaching and Master of Music simultaneously, both at the Prince Claus Conservatory.
