He began by playing Greek folk music (Nikolas Asimos, Theodorakis, and Savvopoulos among others), and other styles such as metal, rock, and classical guitar. He has over the years learned through many hours of improvisation and experimentation. When I was in adolescence, I had the belief that only if a piece sounded like something from the Renaissance, only then it was good. So I made compositions like this.\u003cbr\u003eThe Cradle Song has an ending that reminds strongly of Chadjidakis. The Renaissance Melody is what its title says with a robust pentatonic end. The Slow Dance is influenced by the Pavanas of the middle age and from Bourree BWV 996. The Portrait is what I call my first attempt at a major work. Please enjoy the music.
