After earning a degree in Musicology, Etienne Candela entered the National Conservatory of Paris in Roland Dyens’s class and obtained the First Prize with the unanimity of the jury. He also trained with significant figures of the lute and the guitar as J.M.Roulet, T.Chagnot, Göran Söllscher, Caroline Delume, Carel Harms, Eric Bellocq and Beatrice Pornon.
